These chairs are a variation of the Wassily Chair, also known as the Model B3 chair, designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925-1926 while he was the head of the cabinet-making workshop at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany. Breuer's design was revolutionary in its use of bent tubular steel, inspired by the frame of a bicycle. The original Wassily Chair used canvas, but later versions, like the ones in the image, often incorporate leather straps for the seat, back, and armrests. These chairs are iconic examples of Bauhaus design, emphasizing functionality and industrial materials.
Dimensions: Height: 29 inches, Width: 30 inches, Depth: 27 inches, Seat Height: 17 in. Some seam damage on the back right side.
